WebCentric Education, Inc. was created in January, 2003 out of a belief that no company was adequately addressing the need for skills training for busy professionals.
Lawyers, accountants, consultants and hundreds of other kinds of professionals face a challenging life. In addition to the complexities of life in general in these fast paced times, professionals are responsible for absorbing an ever growing amount of professional knowledge. And, perhaps most importantly, they must couple that knowledge with superior skills in areas like selling, servicing clients and the like.
Knowledge without corresponding skills just does not "cut it" in the highly competitive world in which most professionals practice.
The traditional solution for such needed skills training was for the professional to go off to a multi-day seminar. Not only did this require a significant investment of time and money in such training, it ignored the fundamental educational fact that skills training requires repetitive practice, use, and feedback.
We believe the better solution lies with the web. With a "webcentric" approach to providing busy professionals with the right information at the right time. Note that our approach is "webcentric" not exclusively web based. We believe that skills are best built using a variety of media that is accessed by professionals as they need it, in what ever form they want it at that time. Video, audio, or text. Accessed through the web, via TV, via the phone, or via CD player. All integrated. And all fully searchable to provide busy professional with the right information at the right time.
Using its innovative proprietary distribution processes, WebCentric Education will be providing adults with the information to improve their personal performance, as well as to better enjoy life. As a vehicle to introduce professionals to the notion of taking responsibility for their self-development, WebCentric Education acquired and redeployed www.quantum-leap-strategies.com in February 2003. Since that time, Quantum Leap Strategies has quickly become one of the leading personal development sites on the web.
Under the guidance of an experienced management team, the first of a series of planned membership programs will be launched this spring. Based on the philosophies of the country's leading coach for rainmakers, David Carpenter, Sales Success will provide lawyers, accountants and consultants with the tools for building their selling skills.
Scheduled for launch this summer is Network Success featuring Ed Forsberg, a master at teaching professionals how they can leverage their selling and service delivery efforts by effective use of networks of other professionals.
Scheduled for launch this fall are two additional sites, Service Success and Win/Win Solutions. Next spring, WebCentric will be launching Sales Success for real estate sales professionals.
